I am a PhD student in the WAND group. My research involved designing an interface for wireless network planning - specifically designing a graphical user interface using HCI techniques that allows non-expert users to plan a wireless network in rural areas. The prototype interface has been completed and evaluated. I am currently finishing my thesis writeup and intend to submit soon. Before I started my PhD, I did my honours in WAND working with Dean Armstrong's WAG cards to measure packet time-of-flight.
